Job Title: Small Groups Pastor
Purpose Statement: To lead people to experience the life Jesus gives by leading Grace Church’s adult small groups.
Reports To: Lead Pastor
Responsibilities:
Lead and cast vision for the Small Groups Ministry at Grace Church (currently more than 50 small groups)
Develop and maintain systems for assimilating new adults into groups (men, women, married, premarital and affinity groups)
Coach existing group leaders and equip new group leaders
Coordinate with the Adult Ministries Assistant and Care Pastor to provide care for adults in need or crisis
Provide general pastoral support as needed as part of the pastoral team including occasional teaching, performing weddings, doing baptisms, providing biblical counsel, etc.
Oversee other adult education special workshops, seminars and conferences
Attend weekly planning meetings
Perform all other duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor
