We are seeking a Director of Communications to join our team! You will be responsible for developing and overseeing our communication strategy, to advance the vision and mission of First Presbyterian Church.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- Work with ministry representatives to develop a communication network
- Design and create weekly internal written communications to membership
- Design and implement a comprehensive digital media outreach including social media
- Develop and place advertisements, press releases, and other publicity.
- Coordinate resources including photography, online resources, logos and other branding,
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies.
Qualifications:
- Understanding the unique needs of a spiritual community
- Outstanding organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
- Team player, self-starter, multi-tasker
- A sense of responsibility for the overall vision and mission of all church communications.
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud is desired
